Looking for info on what really happened to 602 and why we had to make an emergency landing with the emergency vehicles ready on the ground. Emergency landing at Redmond, OR. Captain said it was a "minor electrical malfunction" but later rumors from engine failure to engine fire on up to total electrical failure. We flew around for an hour at a very high angle of attack and the captain cycling the electric power continuosly, which to me indicates only one engine was operating. Couldn't get any info from the cabin crew, flight deck crew or ground crew. Pilot very obviously made a manual landing without out auto landing. 14 hours later, Allegiant flew in an empty aircraft to continue on to B'ham. Any info you have would be helpful.
Side note. After landing in Redmond, very shaken and scared, the cabin crew was no where to be found, leaving 2 excellent TSA agents, a local small town cop, and two rampies to pass out pizza and soft drinks. I imagine abandoning 149 rattled passengers in a very small, crowded regional airport isn't in the Allegiant flight attendant employee handbook.
