The Bombardier Global 6000, which entry into service is expected for 2012, features the Global Vision flight deck that includes a new state of the art head-up display (HUD). Using the Rockwell Collins Head-up Guidance System (HGS) with synthetic vision, terrain, airports and obstructions are directly projected in front of the pilot. Rockwell Collins will be the first company to bring this capability to the real world.
The video shows this system demonstrated on board of a Bombardier Challenger 601 test aircraft.
