During takeoff from Point Mugu Naval Air Base a Boeing 707-321B Tanker operated by Omega Air went off the side of the runway into a marsh area and burst into flames. Fortunately all three people onboard survived the crash. According to media, the military tanker plane had loaded 150,000 pounds of jet fuel.
