Video – Air France Airbus A380 Hits Comair Plane at JFK

Last night Air France flight AF007, an Airbus A380-861 (F-HPDJ) struck Comair (Delta Connection) flight 553, a Bombardier CRJ 700 (N641CA) at New York JFK International Airport. During taxi the French Airbus A380’s left wing struck the tail of the Comair Bombardier and spun it nearly 90-degrees. Fortunately nobody was injured. The Comair plane with 62 passengers has been immediately evacuated.

The collision ripped off the wingtip fence of the Air France A380, damage to the Comair Bombardier CRJ tail section needs to be determined. According to early reports it seems like the Comair plane was hanging over the taxiway.
