Boeing released this video today showing final taxi tests of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental. The plane moved on its own power for the very first time and speeded down the runway with up to 90 knots. During the tests last systems have been checked to make sure anything is working well.
Now after the new airliner successfully passed all required milestones it’s ready for the first flight, which is scheduled for March 20, 9:45am PST (16:45 GMT). The maiden flight can be watched via live stream at http://www.newairplane.com/747/incredible/
