Boeing has completed another key milestone on the way to the first flight of the 747-8I. A few days ago Boeing started up the 4 General Electric GEnx-2B engines for engine runs-tests. During this test all the computing systems, the backup systems, pneumatics and electric systems have been checked. The next milestone to come will be a simulated flight.
